“Serenity At The Center Of Chaos” is a semi-abstract work depicting a woman resting calmly among a swirling chaos of colors.

Representing the inner calm as one faces life’s ups and downs, this is an intensely personal piece. She’s Mom, facing the struggles of keeping the kids safe, fed, and educated. She’s Girl Boss, taking on the Boys’ Club and looking good doing it. She’s Every Woman.

The color palette shades from the rich browns and golds of the hair, to the gold-and-blue dress, culminating in a gold-and-green sweep that evokes the wings of a magical bird.
